To undertake any NVQ you will need to have prior knowledge of the chosen qualification you are looking to achieve. NetRet group has a rough guidance to eligibility, but this can change depending on the individual basis.

  • Candidates must have experience in their chosen area of skill.
  • Candidates must have basic level of literacy.
  • Candidates must be in some form of employment or have access to an observable working situation.
  • Basic IT skills may be required but is not essential.

We use a QuickBooks system with credit card and PayPal options for payment. If you need the invoice to go to a specific individual or department, please let us know and we will make sure our system has the correct information.

Upon Payment

  • You will receive an email giving you access to your employer Dashboard to check everyone’s progress.
  • Each operative will receive an email giving them access to their NVQ dashboard.
  • The assessor will call within 2 working days to carry out a general NVQ induction and arrange a Professional Discussion.
  • Assessor will provide each operative with their assigned tasks.

You and/or your operatives will be enrolled onto an online system you can view at any time to check progression. Using our QualsDirect portal you can communicate with us directly about anything they are not sure about.

NVQ Cost per Person

Our prices vary based upon the level of service you require and becoming a member. The more you use our services the higher the percentage we can deduct from the NVQ assessments.

When you get in touch, we provide you with a full list of costs and work out the best price for you and your business.

If you are a CITB Member you can claim back £600 once you have achieved your qualification. (As of May 2018, you do not have to be a levy payer to receive you training grants. Have a look to see if you qualify)

If you’re studying a Level 3 qualification, you might be eligible for an ‘Adult Education Budget’ grant instead of an Advanced Learner Loan. If you get a grant, you do not need to repay it. Ask your college or training provider about grants before you apply for a loan.

Delivery Time

Our NVQs can be carried on site or remotely and have minimal impact to your operative’s working day, but on rare occasions we can also deliver the NVQ in a surrounding that might be best for the candidate.

You do not need to attend a classroom as this is not a course. You will be assessed based upon your current knowledge, any questions and professional discussions can be done at your own time.

We always put a minimum 10-week achievement rule on our NVQs for quality purposes, however you can work with your assessor to gain achievement quicker if needed.

Our assessment team can assess anywhere in the UK, and we will work with both the employer and the candidate to make sure we get the best outcome when we carry out the assessment.

In some cases you might require your NVQ urgently, we offer a fast track option for such cases.

How it works:

We will priorities you to a specialist assessor who will allocate you to the top of the list. You will be priority at the start of each day, we don't allocate more that 4 fast tracks to each assessor per case load.

Stage 1 - Initial Contact – Please allow 2 weeks

  1. We will confirm NVQ booking with client
  2. We will pass candidates details onto assigned assessor
  3. Assessor carries out skills check with candidate (please allow 2-3 days)
  4. Client makes payment to NetRet (as agreed on invoice)

Stage 2 - Induction Stage – Please allow 2 weeks

  1. Assessors carries out induction to NVQ with candidate (can be done over the phone)
  2. Assessor will agree an estimated end date for your NVQ
  3. We will register candidate onto awarding body system
  4. We will send client & candidate confirmation of induction and enrolment

Stage 3 - Assessment Stage – You and the assessor will agree an estimated end date

  1. Assessor keeps in contact with candidate throughout NVQ and coordinates observation
  2. We will inform client of observation date
  3. Assessor carries out observation on candidate
  4. For higher NVQ levels this will be repeated until achievement

Stage 4 – Completion Stage – Please allow 2 weeks

  1. Candidate achieves NVQ
  2. We will inform client of candidate’s achievement
  3. Assessor submits file for IQA/EQA process
  4. We order candidates’ certificate
  5. We will send certificate to client/candidate (please note that certificates will not be issued
    until outstanding payment are paid)
